Caring for Our Communities

Our company’s guiding principles are service, integrity, responsibility, accountability, and teamwork. We believe in living out these principles within the local and larger communities where we live and work. Wells does this by empowering employees to care for others and make a difference in the lives of those whom they have a passion to serve. This employee-driven, company-supported philosophy of service allows employees to make a more strategic and sustainable impact andenjoy the benefits of service to the organizations most personally meaningful to them.

Community Volunteerism

Wells sponsors two events to spotlight and serve nonprofit organizations in which employees are actively involved. During our “Let’s Make a Difference Day” fair each fall, employee - championed charities are invited to come and present their work to the company. The following spring, employees are invited to spend a full paid day serving one of these charities during Wells’ company-wide volunteer service event, “Let’s Make a Difference - In Action!”

Blood Donations

We also seek to live out our creed of glorifying God and caring for people through blood donations. Over one-third of Wells’ Atlanta staff have actively participated in blood donation drives at our headquarters in the past year. We believe that giving the “gift of life” is a tangible expression of our commitment to sustaining and supporting those with whom we live in our community.
